Biography
Thomas E. Lavery completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Albany, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990. He received a Master of Arts degree from the College of Saint Rose in 1992.
In 1996, he received a Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School. He has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1997, and he is a member of the bars of the United States District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of New York. He is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA). His areas of practice include Export Control compliance, Technological Transfer, Intellectual Property, Collaborative Research and Development, International Trade contracts, Commercial and Civil Litigation, Administrative Law and Criminal Law.
