Biography
F. Redmond (Red) Griffin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green University. In 1960 he received his Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School. He served as Assistant Counsel to the Speaker of the New York State Assembly from 1969 to 1970. He was Counsel to the Troy Housing Authority and a member of the Rensselaer County Sewer Agency.
He was also Special Counsel for the Town of East Greenbush Water and Sewer District. Mr. Griffin was a director of the Rensselaer County Red Cross and was a trustee of the YWCA of Troy-Cohoes, serving, in addition, as Chairman of the YWCA Board for 6 years. Mr. Griffin’s areas of practice include Real Estate Law, Zoning and Planning, Community Development, Commercial Mortgage Lending, and Lobbying.
